Explore the scenic trails winding through the charming villages of the Langhe, or venture to the Maritime Alps, where within two hours you can trek around the base of Monviso and other breathtaking peaks.
The Barolo
Visit the historic town of Barolo, renowned for its exceptional wines, along with other charming, lesser-known villages. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Rose Street after a delicious lunch at Bosso Lasco — a truly memorable experience. All of this is just a 10 to 40-minute drive away.
Churches
Every village features a church, many of which welcome visitors on Sundays. The frescoes are stunning, and in Vicoforte (just a 20-minute drive), you’ll find the largest elliptical dome ever constructed, adorned with beautifully restored Baroque frescoes. You can also climb to the top of this remarkable dome for a breathtaking view.
Local Produce
The region is renowned not only for its wine but also for a diverse array of locally crafted products. From truffles and cheese farm tours to vibrant fresh markets, craft beer, and artisanal chocolates, there is something for everyone. You can even take pasta-making classes. The possibilities are endless.
